This 4-day itinerary takes you on an adventure to Ba Be Lake, Cao Bang, and Ban Gioc Waterfall, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region 

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake 

At 7:30 am, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. We will begin our journey to Ba Be National Park, making a stop at the Cultural Museum of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups along the way. As we drive through the mountains and tea plantations, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the scenic views. Upon reaching Ba Be Lake, we will visit the Tay village of Pac Ngoi, where traditional stilt houses are found. You’ll spend the night in a hotel, providing an immersive experience of Tay culture and daily life. After enjoying a local lunch and checking in at the homestay, the afternoon is free for you to explore the beautiful surroundings. We recommend taking a walk and visiting Hua Ma Cave, known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. We’ll also visit Tat Ma Waterfalls, also known as Silver Falls, which cascades down a steep cliff into a clear pond surrounded by greenery. Dinner will be served at the homestay.

Day 2: Ba Be – Cao Bang 

After breakfast, we’ll board a boat and embark on a scenic journey across Ba Be Lake, offering stunning views of karst formations and wildlife. You can relax and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. We’ll reach the end of the lake and then trek to Dau Dang Waterfall before heading north through the mountains to the city of Cao Bang. You’ll spend the night in Cao Bang.

Day 3: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall 

Today, we’ll take you to one of the most incredible natural wonders in Northern Vietnam, Ban Gioc Waterfall. This magnificent waterfall spans 300 meters and stands 53 meters tall, situated on the border between Vietnam and China. The surrounding landscape features limestone karst formations and lush rice paddies belonging to the Tay, H’Mong, and Dzao ethnic minority groups. On the way back to Cao Bang, we’ll explore the Nguom Ngao Cavern, a vast cave adorned with brilliant stalactites. Overnight stay in Cao Bang.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Lang Son – Hanoi

 In the morning, we’ll depart from Cao Bang and journey back to Hanoi, passing through historic mountain passes to reach Lang Son. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to explore a local market in the city center and take a leisurely walk around this border city. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Lang Son. After lunch, we’ll continue our drive back to Hanoi, and the trip will conclude upon arrival
